The Mirror has come out for Burnham. This is not tremendously surprising. I was interested that they have given Corbyn a lot of positive coverage. I don't remember them being anywhere near as friendly to Benn back in the 80s.
But they are very positive about Corbyn in the endorsement, and even call for him to be given a role in the shadow cabinet. This level of acceptance of a clearly left wing figure in the UK media is really unprecedented. Is the long slow drift rightwards finally being reversed?
