    Strongest tone I've yet seen from Corbyn - he can get a bit more passionate after all, I was worried he was stuck in understated mode. I knew that was a bit calculated.

    Yvette would have been a perfectly acceptable leader and at last a woman. Ridiculous vote. Madness beyond belief. But I didn't have a vote. I'm not Labour. I did have a bet on her though believing even until last week that sense would prevail.

    Actually, Bruckner's adagio was inspired by the death of Wagner, I believe.
    As Bruckner worked on this slow movement he heard news of the death of his idol Richard Wagner, and instantly decided to dedicate it to his remembrance. (notes to Ivan Fischer's recording of 7th Symphony).

    So for the second time in a row the Leader of the Labour party got less than 1/2 of the actual members to vote for them. or the 3rd time in a row if you include Gordon Browns efforts to inshore he never got to an election.

    You are wrong in a Jezza/Cooper final round Jezza would be at circa 75%. Way higher than IDS 60% 155k votes.
