Prior to June 23rd, there was a strong push from Remain that a Leave victory could lead to a united Ireland, Paddy Power have a market up on whether there will be a referendum on such a matter by the end of 2020.

Edited extra bit: that said, I now feel like a moron for not remembering this earlier and backing Rosberg (now 1.66 for the win) at about 2.75. Ah, well.
Still think we should invade the Republic and tidy up the borders. Sorry, it's what playing Paradox games does to a body. Can't bear to see untidiness on the map.
At the very least I don't think after a Scottish NO vote and the Brexit result, that it can much longer via possible for Scotland to exclude non-Scottish UK students from Scottish universities - it's their parents who are paying! The UK is one country and this internal discrimination must stop.
Eire wants the North The North wants to join Eire The UK is the only thing standing in the way.
In fact: Eire wouldn't touch the North with a barge pole The North wouldn't touch Eire with a barge pole The UK would give the North to Eire in a heart beat.....
People aren't purely rational actors. Rationality plays a varying degree of importance depending on the type of decision but is rarely, if ever, absent completely.
And saying that purely economic arguments don't work is true, but does not thereby prove that people aren't rational actors.
Would require a Sinn Fein First Minister for a United Ireland referendum in Northern Ireland, not going to happen while the DUP remain the largest party
An excellent way to waste a few weekends. Forming the UK (British nation anyway) by sending spies to Scotland and fabricating claims to their throne to declare war on them feels brilliant.
I had a game once where I ended up taking over the whole North American continent and the whole of Europe plua a fair chunk of Africa. The French were the last to fall, buy in the end they gave in.
To be honest, best bet is probably Tories most seats at next GE for a 30% return.
It's a max of 3 years and 9 months till it pays out, May will be fighting it as PM and Labour are in such a state that, even if Corbyn is removed, they'd have to be doing phenomenally well to strip 50 net seats off the Tories in England and Wales.
Any Paradox game really - Crusader Kings II, Europa Universalis IV, Hearts of Iron IV, Victoria II; you'll find me diligently making neat, sensible borders all over the world. Admittedly there's the occasional touch of the Alexander the Greats leading to world conquests, but above all, one strives for aesthetically pleasing boundaries.

Hmm. It appears Channel 5 doesn't have the rights to The Walking Dead (series 6). Shame. One hopes Maggie survives, otherwise series 2 will have been truly pointless.

Mr. Max, if I were a PC gamer, I imagine I'd give that sort of thing a crack.
Then be glad you are not a PC Gamer, Mr Dancer. I can't speak for the others but Europa Universalis IV is a time sink of the magnitude of a medium sized black hole.
Crusader Kings II I bought thinking I would enjoy it but never got into it.
Thankfully I have been clean for over a year now. Flight sim only, for me.

Personally I think wistfully of the time when journalists didn't express opinions, didn't build up personal images, and simply tried to tell us the facts. Ganesh will now be unable to offer a report on lefties without readers being unsure if he's reporting the facts or letting his opinions drive him. He's by no means the worst, of course.

Mr. Palmer, be honest: you play as space Stalin, don't you?
Mr Dancer.. you see what I meant this am about how much fun it is watching Corbyn (especially) and Smith.. Corbyn was waylaid at this morning's press conference by journos wanted to talk about his(lack of) train seat.. It was excruciatingly painful to listen to but somehow most enjoyable.. To see Corbyn caught up in the aftermath of deception is delicious beyond compare.
This is what is bothering me most of all about #traingate (or #trainbarrier). Something can be “jam-packed” or (if you’re down with the kids) “rammed”, but “ram-packed” sounds like an unhealthy compromise between the two.
As a fan of Derby County, I was going to say I preferred the term “rammed”, but then I saw the alternative definition on Urban Dictionary… ☹
Mr. Palmer, Kamal Ahmed on the BBC the other night was giving full flow to the IFS' deranged view of statistics regarding the fictional gender pay gap.
A similar issue to your Ganesh point can be made about Isabel Oakeshott[sp] following her decision to include something she thought wasn't true in a biography about someone funded by a man who didn't especially like the biography's subject. Maximum objectivity.

I've actually done the second longest flight from the UK Europe! I flew Frankfurt to Buenos Aires.
This is the longest non-stopper I've done. London Singapore or Amsterdam Lima were my previous records, both about 13 hours. This is ANOTHER two hours on top. Jesus.
Since 1 March 2016, the longest non-stop scheduled airline flight is Emirates flight EK448 from Dubai, United Arab Emirates to Auckland, New Zealand, and its return flight EK449, at 14,200 kilometres (7,700 nmi). The inaugural flight was flown using an Airbus A380-800,[10][11] but subsequent regular service flights will be flown using a Boeing 777-200LR.[12] Emirates have subsequently announced that the Dubai - Auckland return flight will switch to an A380 permanently as of October 2016.[13][14]
On 1 June 2016, United Airlines began nonstop operations between San Francisco and Singapore using a Boeing 787-9. Singapore Airlines will join United Airlines on 23 October 2016 operating a Airbus A350-900 aircraft with payload restrictions.[15]
Mr. Reprobatus, don't let others dictate your vocabulary, man!
I forget if it's in a published story [got some waiting in the wings] but at one point Sir Edric refers (quite correctly) to not being a demented dotard. I'm sure someone or other will find that offensive. It is, however, proper English, so it's staying [or stayed] in.

It's not up[ to Teresa May or any other British PM. The right to hold a Border Poll is enshrined in the St Andrews Agreement (every seven years as it happens). Well now, this train stuff has been most entertaining but is now becoming as tedious as being stuck in a tube train in a tunnel in weather like this.
So my youngest has got the A-level results he wanted and is off to Manchester Uni to study Economics and Politics. He is embarking on his student life by heading for the Reading Festival tomorrow.
He is most excited by it all. I am very proud of and pleased for him.
(I shall miss him like hell though.)
As all 3 are now officially adults, I can say that they are all alive, not obviously psychopaths and seem broadly normal and mostly pleasant. Phew: that's my 23 and a half year job done!
(And yes I know that they will all boomerang back, a mother's job is never done etc.... but I can briefly congratulate myself, I think, on not having lost or killed them.)

I did JFK to Tokyo, that felt like it would never end. I think that was 14h or so.
Chicago-Hong Kong on United; 15 hours 50 minutes
Why? Why would any of you long distance masters want to do such things to yourselves, let alone dope yourself up in order to cope?
In my youth I could just about cope with London to Delhi (en route to Hong Kong), but that is about it. In later years the monthly (or so) business/first class flight to the states had about as much appeal as the 07:00 commuter train to Victoria. Ditto going to and from Muscat.
Why you fellows feel the need to dope yourself to the eyeballs and then take a 14/15 hour flight is beyond me.

Proletarian?
If you like to ski, I'd recommend two or three days in the Valle Nevado - it's only a couple of hours out of Santiago.
To see Corbyn caught up in the aftermath of deception is delicious beyond compare.
As a fan of Derby County, I was going to say I preferred the term “rammed”, but then I saw the alternative definition on Urban Dictionary… ☹
A similar issue to your Ganesh point can be made about Isabel Oakeshott[sp] following her decision to include something she thought wasn't true in a biography about someone funded by a man who didn't especially like the biography's subject. Maximum objectivity.
It's not new, sadly. Brown never got a fair press. He either got undeserved praise, or unremitting hostility.
On 1 June 2016, United Airlines began nonstop operations between San Francisco and Singapore using a Boeing 787-9. Singapore Airlines will join United Airlines on 23 October 2016 operating a Airbus A350-900 aircraft with payload restrictions.[15]

I forget if it's in a published story [got some waiting in the wings] but at one point Sir Edric refers (quite correctly) to not being a demented dotard. I'm sure someone or other will find that offensive. It is, however, proper English, so it's staying [or stayed] in.
Mr. Root, and yet, those jesters are contending to be Leader of the Opposition...
Edited extra bit: actually, when at school it was discovered my internal temperature* is unusually cool, at 36C.
*Mouth thermometer, of course.
In terms of Mrs May, I'm lucky in that my taste in women has aged with me, which is a minor boon.

It's not up[ to Teresa May or any other British PM. The right to hold a Border Poll is enshrined in the St Andrews Agreement (every seven years as it happens). The seven year clause is something which all those who say a referendum - whether Scottish or European- is for ever should have a good think about.
