imagepoliticalbetting.com » Blog Archive » Donald Trump’s horizontal jogging with a porn star might see Melania Trump jog on from their marriage

Following the recent revelations about Donald Trump paying hush money to the porn star Stormy Daniels to keep quiet about their reputed affair, the marriage of Donald and Melania Trump has come under scrutiny. If you have no ethical or moral qualms about betting on the divorce of a couple then you might be interested in the above betting markets from Paddy Power.

But don't political wives (and it would usually be wives given female and gay leaders would be rare) tend to stick it out until after a term has ended when a scandal breaks?

HIllary never left Bill despite all his alleged philandering - are we really now reduced to betting when Melania might leave Trump?

I rather doubt it - she is First Lady of the United States (not bad for a Model born in Slovenia) and has a young son. They may well divorce one day - but I doubt it will be while he is in the White House,

No President has ever got divorced in office*, but two I think were married in office, both were widowers.

*Reagan and Trump are the only Presidents who have been divorced, both were before they took office.

No, and Reagan was, I believe, the only divorcee.

I'd be wary of using any 'don't/doesn't...tend to...?' statements in relation to the Trump presidency.

Someone asked me the difference between ethics and morals.

I replied that there isn't a TV programme called 'The Only Way is Morals'.

That's the sort of insight you get by studying PPE.

Ta. Just for reference, when was the last unmarried US president? I assume there must have been one at some point in the last 200 odd years but as far as I know everyone post War has been married.

There was an astonishing interview by Bill Maher of Michael Woolf, author of the latest Trump book on Friday.

Woolf basically said that Trump is having a current affair but he couldn’t back it up enough to publish it.

If I were Melania, I’d make him choose:

    1. I’ll go now (or when you stand down) and quietly, in exchange for setting aside the prenup and we split on half of everything.
    Or
    2. I’ll be the bitch you can’t get rid of, in court and on the TV every day challenging everything you say and being a massive distraction to your life and work as President.

I think I read somewhere that Trump insisted either orally or in legal contract that his wife maintain a particular body type during the marriage irrespective of whether she had children or not. If this is true, other stipulations might be he can do X , Y or Z with who ever he wants. Trump maybe rubbish at averting government shut downs but in his marriage he has all the power. So I doubt divorce is on the cards as they do have a young son as well.

I think I read somewhere that Trump insisted either orally

    I bet he did.

I feel for them. Punished badly after the last one, but the public not fans of not having one either, and no one really wanting new elections.
They could try to put all the blame on the FDP for blowing up the Jamaica deal for no good reason.
Sure, but that would not excuse them refusing a coalition now, even if they had assumed it would not be necessary had the FDP played ball. I don't know how the German public would react, but clearly the party is worried it would not be positively.

Could anyone blame the very beautiful Melania leaving that repulsive fat tub of foul lard? How she could let him dip his geriatric dipstick anywhere near her defies logic, Trump makes Berlusconi or Prince Charles seem like sexy adonisis by comparison.

A man marrying his mistress is creating a job vacancy...

It does boggle my mind that supposedly Christian Evangelicals can so enthusiastically support such an amoral sinner.

Martin Luther championed Philip of Hesse when he committed bigamy.

The robot bet would have tempted me if it was before the end of Trump's first term but 2018 is just too soon.

There is no common ground between the Greens and FDP. The election result left no coherent majority in place.

The argument for doing it now, is Trump is currently rich and not in prison. It might be smart to get half his fortune, while he still has one...

What first attracted you to the billionaire Donald Trump Melania?
If I were Melania, I’d make him choose:

    1. I’ll go now (or when you stand down) and quietly, in exchange for setting aside the prenup and we split on half of everything.
    Or
    2. I’ll be the bitch you can’t get rid of, in court and on the TV every day challenging everything you say and being a massive distraction to your life and work as President.
She seems too much of a doormat for 2).

She will put up with him, but live even more a separate life.

Trump would probably turn finding a replacement FLOTUS into a kind of reality show.

There was an astonishing interview by Bill Maher of Michael Woolf, author of the latest Trump book on Friday.

Woolf basically said that Trump is having a current affair but he couldn’t back it up enough to publish it.

Not quite. SPD vote for talks about coalition.

I've mixed feelings about this. I'm a Social Democrat and I think Europe at its best is basically a Social Democracy so I'd like to see Merkel (and particularly Schauble) fall. On the other hand I have a pile on Merkel as next Chancellor.

    HH or KC then?

It’s true that roughly every 15 years Trump replaces his wife with a 30 year old woman. In which case the former...

If Farage does launch a new party it will be very interesting to see how he positions it. In fact probably the most important question in British politics over the next couple of weeks.

UKIP's demise is excellent news for the Tories and makes Corbyn's job of becoming PM more difficult

I'd have thought it may be more difficult to predict - surely Tories have regained a lot of the former Tory UKIPers, Labour's position may be unclear but Corbyn is pretty Brexity, and in any case those remaining with UKIP at present might include a sizable number determined not to vote for one of the big two under any circumstances.
