Not sure if you check this, and I'll write to your Parliamentary address as well, but just in case...
Since January, I have been working to try and get the 2018 decision not to support the Swansea Tidal lagoon power station revisited. With Covid, it is now a no-brainer for the Welsh economy as part of the "Bounce-back". It's an immediate £800m of inward investment and 2,200 jobs. However, the supply chain extends across the "Red Wall". Significant parts of the construction is within Staffordshire. Jeremy Lefroy, the Stafford MP until 2019 was a huge supporter (they were actually designed by a late cousin of his).
Paul Maynard will have written to you, asking you to join as a supporter. We already have Jack Brereton signed up; getting more of the Staffordshire supply chain would be very helpful. Both BEIS and the PM are being asked to get Swansea started this summer. It is ready for Boris-ready break ground in a digger. If you could help support, I'd be very grateful. Mark
